A pre-header is usually the first thing a recipient will see from your email in their inbox and once they click to read. That’s why it is important to use this place as an extra opportunity to encourage the recipient to read further. You often only have a few seconds to capture the interest of your recipient before your email is clicked out of or sent to the trash. Use the pre-header to write a short preview of your email better yet, give a sneak peek at special offers or discounts included in the email.
