Disclosing email source

2017-12-21

Do you tell your receiver from where you have got their contact details? No? Then it’s time to do it.

Get started by following these guidelines:

  • Mailings must include information on the address source i.e. where you have downloaded their address from
  • Detail the source address and telephone so that the recipient can contact the source
  • Contact information doesn’t need to be included if there is reason for you to believe that the addressee understands where the address has been obtained, for example, as a result of the customer relationship, membership, ordering information etc
