Waitlist

Activate the waitlist

  1. Go to Details in the left column and Attendee limit
  2. Under How many can attend? enable “Set a limit on the maximum number of attendants”.
    If everything is “greyed out” and you cannot edit, you must first Enable editing.
  3. Once you set the event’s maximum limit for the number of participants – enable “Place new attendees in queue after limit is reached”.
  4. Specify how many contacts that can be on the waiting list.

How it works

If the regular seats are full and there are people on the waiting list: if a participant with a regular seat cancels her/his place, the event’s confirmation email is automatically sent to the contact on the waiting list with the longest queue time. That contact’s status also automatically changes from “Watilist” to “Accepted”.

See who’s on the waiting list

  1. Open the Guestlist
  2. Click on the Waitlist-button.

Add someone to the waitlist

  1. Open the Guestlist
  2. Click on the coloured dot before the contact’s name, and change status to Waitlist.

Give someone on the waiting list a regular seat

If you change a contact with the status “Waitlist” to “Accepted”, a confirmation email will automatically be sent to that contact’s email address.
