When sending a newsletter a contact can bounce which means that your mailing could not be delivered to the specified email address. The information about the contacts, bounce cause and the number of bounced can be found in the mailing statistics details.
Open the mailing overview statistics.
You can save the list to a new file, create a new list (under export) or search for a specific contact at the top of the page.
Open a contact in the list Bounced:
To get back to the overview – click < Go back at the top of the page.
Bounces are divided into two categories – Soft or Hard.
If a contact bounces softly three times, the status changes to hard bounce. A contact that has received a hard bounce (or three soft ones) will not receive future mailings.
A soft bounce means that the mailing reaches the recipient’s mail server, but haven’t been delivered to the recipient’s inbox. This might be because:
