Import contacts from external database

If you have an external database of contacts that you continuously want to retrieve contact information from it’s possible to create contact lists that are linked to an external database.

Import contacts from external database

1. Go to your contacts
2. Click New list
3. Click on the Download from web tab
4. Enter the URL of your datasource
5. Depending on the type of database you are connecting to and what information is given, there will be different guides. Follow the wizard to import

PLEASE NOTE! When you import contacts via an external database your contacts become synchronized.
